It is certainly a unique approach to fan relations from the superstar. While some have clapped back at Durant roasting haters on Twitter, it seems as though he’s just trying to have fun on social media. In this case, we see him come to the defense of his teammate. The statement itself is ridiculous, considering the Brooklyn Nets have two former MVPs in James Harden and Kevin Durant surrounding Kyrie Irving.
The Brooklyn Nets may have missed out on the title this season, but when the 2021-22 season rolls around, they will likely be hungrier than ever to win a championship. The Nets are the likely favorites for next season bar any huge trades. Perhaps Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant can prove the haters wrong, and win a ring in Brooklyn.
