Klay Thompson’s Father, Mychal, Reveals His List Of The NBA’s All-Time 15 Greatest Players

1 Min Read

13-year NBA veteran Mychal Thompson has seen greatness first-hand. As a premier player for the 80s Blazers and Lakers, Thompson played against (and with) some of the league’s top stars.

And through his son, Klay, he’s got a special window into the modern NBA as well.

Needless to say, there aren’t many people out there more qualified to talk basketball than Mr. Thompson, and he recently shared some of his knowledge on Twitter in the form of his greatest players list.

These types of things are always debatable, and Thompson even apologized to some of those he snubbed form his list in a follow-up tweet.

The biggest “issue” with Thompson’s list is his inclusion of Durant over guys like Malone, Barkley, and Steph. While Durant is a 2x Champion and former league MVP, his career has seen a number of scandals — one of which includes his departure from OKC to join Thompson’s son in Oakland.

Whatever your opinions on the subject, Mychal has spoken and it seems his mind is made up.
