LeBron James Explains Why He Ignored Guillermo For Many Years In The NBA Finals

After all these years, LeBron James finally revealed why he ignored Guillermo Rodriguez, the hilarious interviewer from Jimmy Kimmel Live! They have a long relationship, with Guillermo trying to get LeBron’s attention without any success.

The player ignored Rodriguez several times in his past playoff run, creating some beef with him. Well, it wasn’t like The King was trying to harm the interviewer’s feeling, but he used him to prove to himself that he can keep his focus during important moments, like the Finals.

In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the 36-year-old revealed why he didn’t pay attention to Guillermo, giving a very interesting explanation.

“See Guillermo, he gave me an opportunity to focus even more during all those Finals runs I had, I was saying to myself ‘If I could block him out, then the fans have no chance.’”

Instead of hating him, Bron just loves Guillermo. In fact, he was an important part of his playoff run in recent years. While the rest of the world thought James hated the lovely interviewer, he received a lot of help from the man on his quest to the NBA Finals.
