Kevin Durant is known to be one of the most aggressive professional athletes on Twitter. Through the season and ever since his elimination, KD has been openly talking on Twitter and asked his followers a question about which 90s centers could possibly win an MVP in the modern era. As fans were sharing their responses, LeBron decided to also reply with the three 90s centers he thinks could win an MVP in the modern era.

The three names LeBron mentioned seem to be the consensus amongst the replies also. While some believed Patrick Ewing could also be in the mix, these three would be the safest bets. Shaq’s dominance would prove to be impossible to stop, no matter what era we were in.
Robinson was a force in his prime and capable of single-handedly carrying his team on both offense and defense if required. He won the MVP in 1995, where he averaged 27.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.7 steals, and 3.2 blocks per game.
Hakeem Olajuwon also won the MVP award, but the year before David Robinson. He would easily fit into today’s era, with MVP-calibre players like Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo modeling aspects of their game after Hakeem.
