Luka Doncic blew everyone away with his performance against the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. The 23-year-old had a historic performance and put up stats that no other player has ever managed in NBA history. The league is currently filled with a lot of talent that is performing at an elite level, but Luka has separated himself a little with some of his recent performances.

Luka Doncic is as special as they come, he led the Dallas Mavericks to a comeback victory against the Knicks that has never been done before in over 13,000 games. He scored 60 points, grabbed 21 rebounds, and made 10 assists, which are just mind-boggling numbers for a player to achieve in a single game. And it’s hard to say a performance like this hasn’t been coming, Luka Doncic had a 50-point game just 2 games ago, meaning his stats over his last 3 games are simply absurd.

Averaging over 47 points, 12 rebounds, and nearly 10 assists over a 3-game span in the modern NBA is just incredible. And the stats have drawn a comparison to none other than Wilt Chamberlain. Chamberlain is the benchmark for a lot of statistical achievements, he once averaged 50 points for an entire season. He was a freak, and the fact that Luka is doing things that even Wilt never managed is a true testament to his talent and potential.

NBA Fans React To Luka Doncic’s Unbelievable 3-Game Statistical Explosion

After he demolished the Knicks, Luka’s name has been on everyone’s lips as the NBA world has been stunned by what he has been able to accomplish. And fans were among the first ones to being up the Wilt Chamberlain comparison, especially in response to his stats over the last 3 games, all of which the Mavericks have won.

“MVP of the league.”

“How is this guy in Wilt Chamberlain territory right now.”

“Luka Doncic is unconscious.”

“Luka you madman go off.”

“My guy is prime Wilt Chamberlain right now.”

“This boy about to own too many records.”

“This sh*t is 2k numbers, bro is unreal.”

“Luka got dropped out the top 5 MVP rankings and had to remind people of who he is.”

“Luka’s on video game mode.”

“They’re gonna talk about him in the future like we talk about Wilt.”

“Bro is just different.”

The Dallas Mavericks haven’t started the season too well after their Western Conference Finals run, but Luka Doncic is carrying them into contention almost singlehandedly. It’s hard to overstate just how special Luka’s season is at the moment, and the hope is that he can carry on playing like this. If he does, it’s hard to see him not being at least in the Top 3 in the MVP race.
