It’s not a secret that Richard Jefferson is a fun guy who doesn’t hesitate to troll his friends or fans. The former NBA player is always making jokes, but recently, he was on the receiving end when Malika Andrews went at him with a short yet strong phrase.

Earlier this week, ahead of Stephen Curry’s record-breaking night against the New York Knicks, the NBA Today crew discussed the player’s chance to break Ray Allen’s 3-PT record at the most famous arena in the world. Richard Jefferson and JJ Redick, two retired sharpshooters, joined Malika Andrews.

At some point, the host roasted RJ when she said there was a record-breaker among them, but clarifying that she wasn’t talking about the 2016 NBA champion (3:36).

“Richard, we do have a record-breaker in our midst and heaven knows it ain’t you,” Andrews said while Jefferson looked shocked.

She then mentioned JJ Redick’s NCAA 3-PT record, asking the former Duke player if he felt any kind of pressure as the moment came closer. Redick clarified that it wasn’t the same that Curry was about to do, but he still felt the pressure, the exhaustion, saying that once he broke three records over two weeks, he was relieved.

That’s how Curry must have felt after he finally surpassed Ray Allen with two 3s in the first quarter against the New York Knicks. The Golden State Warriors superstar now sits alone atop of this incredible list, and he’s trying to increase his numbers every game.

While Curry made 3-pointers on the court, Malika also made a big shot with an impressive roast for Jefferson, who has become famous for his jokes. Not so long ago, he shared a video trolling Kendrick Perkins for not fitting in his car. Things changed for RJ this week. Andrews, at the least expected moment, went at him and trolled him big time.
