NBA fans always find a way to troll players and teams. The community is always ready to make fun of everybody, including their own squads. On Thursday, the Los Angeles Lakers -and LeBron James- were subject to these jokes when somebody decided to caption a pic of Anthony Davis and James with funny subtitles.
@LakeShowYo shared a pic of AD talking with LeBron in prior games, urging the King to bring back his Cleveland Cavaliers version to save these Lakers from the debacle.
““do that sh*t u did in Cleveland,” this person tweeted before Game 6 of their first-round series.

Of course, the rest of the fans joined the joke, talking about LeBron’s real chances to carry the Lakers to the win, Davis spending more time injured than on the court, and more.

I’m gonna be sick if they lose. I can’t lie. I think I’m gonna just skip watching the game tonight.

The difference is that. Role players in cleveland hitting that effin wide open 3s. Basketball should be and always be a team sports. If only 1 player is workin its ass off. Then, its bound to fail.

2018 was his last year being able to carry like that….those Golden State battles took alot outta Bron.I think if he played any team besides GS that year he would've won.

In the end, the Lakers couldn’t get the W in front of the Phoenix Suns. Instead, the Arizonan team took care of business, dominating the purple and gold early in Game 6. The purple and gold threatened to come back, but Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Jae Crowder responded to cool things off every time the Lakers felt they had a chance.
This Lakers’ offseason will be one to follow. They have some things to figure ahead of the 2021/22 season if they want to reclaim their throne in the league.
LeBron couldn’t do what he did in Cleveland, and even though he showed heart and pride to keep his team close to the Suns, that wasn’t enough for the King.
