While Iman Shumpert is no longer in the NBA, he has been in the headlines recently for his ongoing stint in the popular reality show ‘Dancing With The Stars’. The show involves a dancer being paired with a celebrity, and the duo having to choreograph dance performances and perform better than the other duos.

Shumpert last played for the Brooklyn Nets last season for a short stint and has been struggling to find a team in the NBA willing to bring him in. This is truly surprising, given that Shumpert was on a championship contender just a few years ago.

Since his stint with Cleveland, Shumpert has struggled to find a proper home in the NBA and currently finds him without a team. But Shumpert’s main focus will be on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ for the moment. And with his most recent performances, he’s shown that he is taking it very seriously.

Shumpert put on an incredible dancing showcase during his performance this past week. So much so that fans themselves were incredibly shocked to see the former NBA champion busting out moves the way he way.

Fans reacted to a post on Instagram page Kicks, mentioning how incredible Shumpert’s performance was. A few fans even mentioned that his wife, rapper, and singer Teyana Taylor, who is a great dancer in her own right, probably helped him with that performance too. Here are some of the best reactions from fans.

Shumpert played in the NBA for almost a decade and even won an NBA championship in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Shumpert contributed decent minutes for the Cavs during their title run and was considered a fairly important member during their run.

Shumpert was with the Cavs during their incredible 4-year run between 2015 and 2018 when they went to 4 straight NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. While the Cavs lost 3 of those NBA Finals, they played very well for the most part of those seasons, with Shumpert being relied upon regularly.

Even though Shumpert is an NBA champion, there is a new accolade he’s vying for at the moment; winner of ‘Dancing With The Stars’. And if he continues performing the way he has been so far, he stands a great chance to do so.
