Memphis Grizzlies player Dillon Brooks has been suspended for Game 3 of the Grizzlies-Warriors second-round series. The swingman committed a big foul on Warriors’ Gary Payton II at the start of Game 2, raising a lot of eyebrows around the league, with many people asking for a suspension for the player.

Well, it seems like the NBA agrees with those fans and handed a one-game suspension for the 26-year-old, who will miss Game 3 of this electrifying series this Saturday. Despite Brooks’ suspension, the Grizzlies took a big W to go to San Francisco with a tied series.

Still, it’s bad news for him that the player won’t be available for the upcoming match. The Grizzlies have put up good games against the Warriors in recent times, and that keeps their hopes alive to come out victorious from Chase Center.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Brooks has been suspended for Game 3 after the big foul on Gary Payton II, which resulted in a fractured elbow for the player.

This is a big blow for the Grizzlies, but they can waste time lamenting about it. They have a big game next Saturday and Brooks or not, they will try to bring the fire to the Bay and steal one game from the Warriors’ house.
