The L.A. Clippers were once the favorites to win the 2020 Championship. Loaded with star-power, depth, and coaching talent, it’s easy to see why they were so feared entering the season and then the bubble games in Orlando.

But, in a shocking turn of events, the Clippers are headed home after dropping Game 7 and losing their 3-1 series lead.

After so much hype and elevated expectations, their loss in round two was something nobody saw coming. And, on Twitter, the NBA community was on fire trying to handle the news and what it means for both teams going forward.

This is obviously not how the Clippers saw this series going. With as much talent as they’ve got, it’s shocking they got bounced so early. It will be interesting to see what this means for them going forward.

For the Nuggets, they continue to earn respect, becoming the only team in NBA history to complete 3-1 comebacks in two series during the same postseason. Their focus will now shift to the Lakers, who are now favored to win it all.
