New Footage Suggests Denver Star Nikola Jokic Has Lost A Ton Of Weight Since The NBA Suspension

2 Min Read

The NBA’s suspension impacted every team and every player, but it hasn’t had the same impact on everyone.

It’s no secret that not every player is prepared for the start of the season (i.e. Luka Doncic) and that, even with a few weeks of training, the hiatus will leave a lasting impact on how the season will play out.

For others, though, it was their chance to get in shape, get things right, and maximize their chance of winning upon the inevitable return of the season. Nikola Jokic apparently falls in this category, as new footage of him online seems to show that he’s lost a ton of weight.

One of the biggest knocks on Jokic has always been his ability to stay in shape. Before the hiatus, the guy was over 250 pounds and was kind of slow on his feet. In spite of that, he was still putting up over 20 points 10 rebounds, and 6 assists per game.

If he’s as in shape as he looks, it could change the game for Denver, who have hopes of winning the title this season. With Millsap, Murray, and now a revamped Joker, they could be a serious threat in the Western Conference.

No doubt, we are all counting down the days until basketball finally returns.
