Patrick Beverley Gets Honest About Rumors Of Him Joining The Lakers: "They Want Me To Go To The Lakers? Same People That Was Booing The S**t Out Of Me When I Was With The Clippers."

When it comes to Patrick Beverley, he is not one of your best players in the NBA. No offense to him, but he is simply not at the level to compete with other superstars in the league. It's obvious from the fact that Pat Bev has hopped around several teams in his career.

But that doesn't mean he isn't good at what he does. Pat Bev is a beast on the defensive end of the floor and can put the locks on the player that he is marking during the game. Keeping that in mind, it was shocking that the Minnesota Timberwolves, who do not have a great defense, traded him.

Before his time with the T-Wolves, Beverley was most notably known for his time with the Los Angeles Clippers. Of course, if he played for the Clippers, the Los Angeles Lakers fans booed him a lot when he played in Lakers' home games.

It was due to the fact that Beverley's antics on the court can get a little bit out of hand at times. Anyway, despite the bad blood between the two sides, recent rumors suggest that Beverley is linked with the L.A. Lakers. Upon hearing these rumors, Pat Bev addressed them himself while taking a shot at the Lakers.

Utah, ya'll tryna win or ya'll tryna tank? Let me know. We gonna take Utah all the way, or Utah gonna say they don't need me, and we can go somewhere else?

They want me to go to the Lakers? Same people that was booing the s**t out of me when I was with the Clippers.

It seems obvious that Beverley is not interested in joining the Lakers. But since he is not that big of a superstar, he really has no control over his future. So if the Jazz decides to trade him to the Lakers, he would have no choice but to play.

If this happens, it could be one of the weirdest things that we see this season. In a way, it would be hilarious to see Pat Beverley don the Purple and Gold jersey after going back and forth with the Lakers for years.
