Shaquille O’Neal Explains Why He Thinks The Earth Is Flat: “You Know They Say The World Is Spinning? I’ve Lived On A Lake For 30 Years And I’ve Never Seen The Lake Move To The Left Or Right.”

Shaquille O’Neal is a man of strong opinions, and he’s not shy to share them. Whether it is NBA-related or not, Shaq is always ready to give his input on whatever, even if those opinions are considered controversial by most people. He previously revealed he didn’t want to get vaccinated, but his family pushed him to do it, but that’s not the only thing where Shaq and science clash.

During a recent trip to Australia, O’Neal appeared on a show, where he doubled down on his comments saying that the earth is flat. He’s strong in this belief, and it seems like nobody will make him change his mind.

Talking on ‘The Kylie & Jackie O Show’, Shaq explained the reasoning behind this, first saying that it’s a theory.

“It’s a theory,” O’Neal told the hosts, via Outkick. “It’s just a theory, they teach us a lot of things. It’s just a theory.”

After that, he said that during his 20-hour flight, he only went in a straight line, which can explain that the earth isn’t round but flat.

“I flew 20 hours today, not once did I go this way,” O’Neal said explaining that he “didn’t tip over” or “go upside down.”

Moreover, Shaq said that the earth isn’t spinning because he’s lived near a lake for 30 years, and water has never gone from left to right or vice versa.

“You know they say the world is spinning? I’ve lived on a lake for 30 years and I’ve never seen the lake move to the left or right,” he said.

It’s not a secret that Shaq can say things that many people won’t understand, but he’s not changing anything because of that. The Big Diesel is ready to defend his beliefs against anybody, no matter how odd they might sound to others. This is really controversial, but it’s well known that Shaq isn’t alone on this, not even in the NBA.
