Snoop Dogg Once Turned Down $2 Million To DJ At A Michael Jordan Event: "I've Never Met Michael Jordan And I Want To."

Snoop Dogg is an artist that is well-known across the world. He is someone that is often invited to perform at big events, and he performed at the last NFL Super Bowl as part of the halftime show.

Obviously, one person cannot attend every single event that they are invited to, and even Snoop Dogg has had to reject some invitations. On Jake Paul's Impaulsive podcast, Snoop Dogg revealed that he once turned down $2 Million to DJ at a Michael Jordan event:

“I know one of the craziest deals I turned down was like $2 million dollars to DJ for I think it was a Michael Jordan event and I turned it down. I’ve never met Michael Jordan and I want to meet him.

I was doing some other s*it, and I has s*it to do when I had way more customers.

That is obviously crazy to hear about from Snoop Dogg. Most people would love to perform at a Michael Jordan event, but it is clear that Snoop Dogg had other things going on.

Snoop Dogg is known for being a huge Los Angeles Lakers fan, and there's no question that he is somebody that often opines on the happenings in the NBA. For example, this season, he defended Russell Westbrook and blamed Frank Vogel for the point guard's struggles:

“He’s a killer. He’ll find himself out of it. Remember, the coach wasn’t f—— with him. Coach used to sit him on the bench, take him out the game. That f—- with your mentality too, when you’re this great, and you’ve got this coach telling you, ‘Sit down, hold on,’ then when you get in, you definitely reckless because you ain’t in a groove. Basketball is a groove thing. The coach and the player have to be on the same page to where you understand my minutes affect the way I play, and by you sitting me down, you affecting the way I play because now I can’t do the things I normally do. Now I’m out here rushing and trying to get people involved instead of just running the game. Russell ain’t never sit on the bench... So now you got him sitting the bench for the Lakers? Come on man."

Hopefully, Snoop Dogg's Los Angeles Lakers will have better luck next season. It is quite possible that they will revamp their roster for next season, and perhaps that will give them a better opportunity to compete for an NBA championship.

It remains to be seen if Michael Jordan and Snoop Dogg do ever end up meeting one another. It would definitely be amazing for those two legends to meet one another, and perhaps we'll see it happen in the future.
