The Los Angeles Lakers’ misery continued against the Los Angeles Lakers. Although the Lakers aren’t having the best of the season, fans still expected them to at least win against their rivals.

Unfortunately, that isn’t how things went down. The Clippers not only won the game, they did it with utter ease. After the final buzzer, the scoreline stood at 132-111 in favor of the Clippers.

It was the same old story as LeBron James did his best to steer the Lakers towards the victory. The King put up 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists while playing 37 minutes.

Despite giving his best in almost every game, it was surprising that even LeBron got booed by fans in a recent game. Anyway, coming back to the Lakers’ loss to the Clippers, NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith reacted to it.

As you might have already guessed, Smith, like many Laker fans, wasn’t happy with the result. The renowned NBA analyst tweeted:

“Good Lord have mercy. What an a**-kicking the @LAClippers are handing to the @Lakers. A damn avalanche. It’s over. The @Lakers gotta make a change. This is just too bad to take.”

Good Lord have mercy. What an ass-kicking the @LAClippers are handing to the @Lakers. A damn avalanche. It’s over. The @Lakers gotta make a change. This is just too bad to take.

Just as Smith’s tweet signified, the game was never even close and the Clippers had their way for the entire fixture. Following this defeat, the Purple and Gold’s record has dropped to 27-35 and they are on the verge of slipping down to the 10th seed in the Western Conference.

Apart from Stephen A. Smith, Charles Barkley also made fun of the Lakers in his own unique way. Chuck claimed that the Lakers are so bad this season that even Bronny James could become a starter for the franchise.

Can the Lakers still somehow reach the playoffs? Or is it already too late for them to turn their season around? Only time will tell.
