Charles Barkley Believes The Lakers Are So Bad This Season That Bronny James Can Get A Place On The Roster: “I Think Bronny Might Get A Chance To Start”

The Los Angeles Lakers have extended their losing streak to four after their most recent defeat against their noisy neighbors Los Angeles Clippers. The loss has made their current record 27-35 and they remain in the ninth spot in the Western Conference.

At this point in the season, it feels like only a miracle can save the team from their poor performances. In fact, the Lakers have become a laughingstock not only for the fans but for NBA analysts as well.

Recently, Charles Barkley hilariously did the same by using none other than LeBron James’ son Bronny James’ name. It is a well-known fact that Bronny has decided to pursue a career by playing basketball and he is expected to enter the NBA draft in the coming years as well.

Keeping that in mind, Chuck claimed that even Bronny has a chance to get a spot on the Lakers team.

“Does Bronny start or come off the bench this year? I think Bronny might get a chance to start.”

Obviously, Chuck was joking as in the video he can be seen laughing. While LeBron has openly admitted that he wants to one day play alongside his son on the same team, that day is still far away.

Barkley’s hilarious take aside, the Purple and Gold are in serious need of a change of luck. Despite having a great team on paper, they haven’t played like one throughout the season.

The only player who has been in form consistently has been James. But he’s 37-years-old now and needs the support of his teammates to help the Lakers make it to the postseason. Do the Lakers still have a chance at turning the season around? Or is it already too late?
