Stephen Curry And Trae Young Teamed Up And Balled Out At Rico Hines Basketball Runs

Stephen Curry and Trae Young are two of the best in the business when it comes to long-range snipers in the NBA. Curry is the greatest shooter that we have ever seen, and Young, who came into the league in 2018, has often been compared to the former MVP.

The two are small in stature by NBA standards but still make their opponents look foolish thanks to their handle and ability to break down defenses off the dribble. They have been working on their craft at the Rico Hines Basketball camp this offseason and recently teamed up during some private runs, where they put on a show.

The two of them routinely sunk shots from way beyond the arc, and the range they possess on their shots is truly incredible. We can only imagine the kind of spacing that there would be on the court if they were actually teammates in the NBA, and teams around the league are definitely thankful that they aren’t, as dealing with just one of them at a time is hard enough.

Trae also recently opened up on what it was like to play against Curry, as he stated that they are similar in certain areas.

“Yeah, I mean, it was just as fine as when he [Curry] won his first one by himself with KT [Thompson], and I was in middle school and high school back then, so I remember being a kid watching him back then, and just being a fan then, and now. I mean, being in the league, going against him, I think our games are different, but they’re similar in certain areas, and I definitely want to be a champion, so he’s set the standard,” Young stated.

Curry has definitely set the standard, and Trae would be hoping that he can one day enjoy the kind of team success that Steph has had with the Warriors. The Hawks got him his own All-Star backcourt mate in Dejounte Murray, and perhaps someday, the two of them will shine on the biggest stage of the sport like Curry and Klay Thompson have done so many times.

Steph and Klay are far from being done winning titles, too, as we saw last season when they defied all preseason expectations by winning it all for the 4th time in the last 8 seasons. It is going to take a special effort to take them down, and we wait and see if anyone rises up to that challenge.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
