Stephen Curry Didn't Realize He Was Mic'd When Talking About James Harden: 'He Wants To Play Different. Playing By Himself Or W/E, Heroball -- He Doesn't Want To Play Like That. A System Where They Can Actually Play Beautiful Basketball."

James Harden has surprisingly been linked with trade rumors in recent times, as the Beard and the Rockets didn't have a good 2019/20 NBA season. They tried the small-ball lineup and it didn't work, getting dismantled by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the postseason. Harden and Russell Westbrook didn't work well together, either, so the team is trying to shake things up and make some major changes on the roster.

Even though James Harden is thought to be 'untouchable,' the Rockets could still ship him away if the right offer comes to their table. The Philadelphia 76ers and their new president of basketball operations Daryl Morey were linked with a move for Harden, but they're not the only ones interested in the shooting guard. Here in Fadeaway World, we recently talked about the possibility of Harden joining the Warriors and create the greatest offensive team of all time.

All these rumors got bigger when a video of Curry talking with Mike Budenholzer surfaced. Curry didn't know he was mic'd and revealed a couple of things about Harden to the Milwaukee Bucks head coach during the 2019 NBA All-Star weekend in Charlotte.

"I talked to James [Harden] in the back... Obviously complimented him on what he's done. First thing he says is, 'it's fun, but I want to play different. Playing by myself or w/e, heroball' -- he don't want to play like that but a system where they can actually play beautiful basketball."

Harden's style of play hasn't worked for the Rockets in recent times and James is aware of that. He wants to win and if the Rockets don't offer him that chance anymore, he would have to look for a new team in the league. Fortunately, the Warriors could have a good package to unlock negotiations for Harden and the team would be thrilled to have him on board.
