Stephen Curry Takes A Savage Shot At Dwyane Wade

2 Min Read

Before COVID-19 put the entire NBA season in jeopardy, it was the 2020 Slam Dunk contest that was most controversial.

In a back-and-forth battle between Derrick Jones Jr. and Aaron Gordon, Jones was famously awarded the win after an apparent mix up by one of the judges. It was supposed to be a tie, but it was implied that Dwyane Wade messed up their plan by giving extra points to Jones Jr in the final round.

While we don’t know Wade’s intentions, many are assuming he rigged it in favor of his former Heat teammate.

In a recent video, Steph Curry alluded to this scandal when his brother Seth won his NBA Trivia Pop Quiz.

“Is this like when DWade gave Derrick Jones the Dunk Contest?”

Yeah, Wade won’t be living that down any time soon. In what was arguably the most controversial slam dunk contest in history, many feel as though Gordon should have won and if not for Wade’s “miscalculation,” he might have.

Still, the former Heat star doesn’t feel about it. He did what he thought was right and didn’t look back.

But he can’t expect everyone to just forget about it, especially not when Curry is making remarks about it.
