Klay Thompson is without a doubt one of the greatest shooters of all-time. Klay Thompson’s defining quality is his off-ball presence, and his ability to fire a shot off the catch with only a sliver of daylight. Klay Thompson can heat up very quickly, and most opposing defenses fear Klay Thompson shooting anything.

In the past two seasons, Klay Thompson has struggled with some serious injuries. An injury kept him out last season, and he got injured again before the start of this regular season. There have been concerns among many Warriors fans about how well Klay Thompson can come back from two serious injuries. The key here is Thompson’s shooting: if that comes back, then that’s a step in the right direction.

Steve Kerr seems not to be worried at all about Klay Thompson’s recovery. Shooting is a learned skill, and it sticks with you for a long time. Steve Kerr even stated that Klay Thompson would still be able to shoot when he is 75.

‘Klay will be able to shoot when he’s 75 years old.’ Warriors coach Steve Kerr, clearly unconcerned about Klay Thompson’s touch after 2 major surgeries.

Klay Thompson is one of the best shooters of all-time: his main skill won’t simply go away. While he may not be able to look like an All-NBA player immediately, as long as his shooting is still okay, then he will be alright. Let’s hope that Klay Thompson can come back fully healthy, and let’s hope that we see more electric nights from the amazing shooting guard.
