The Most Championship Game MVPs: Michael Jordan 6, Tom Brady 5

2 Min Read

Tom Brady made history on Sunday night when he won his first Super Bowl during his first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 43-year-old veteran has now more Super Bowls than every franchise in the NFL. He also surpassed Michael Jordan with seven rings, one more than His Airness and the six he collected with the Chicago Bulls in the 90s.

Brady won his 5th Super Bowl MVP in the process, increasing his legend in the NBA. The quarterback has had a terrific career and nobody knows what else he can achieve on the gridiron. As for right now, he’s the GOAT of his sport, just like Jordan is the GOAT of basketball. This prompted fans to compared His Airness to TB12 and their greatness.

Twitter account @MjsGoat talked about the players with the most MVPs in championship games and these two are the leaders of that list. Jordan with six and Brady with five.

Another account made the ultimate case for Brady and Jordan, explaining there was a table where only they could sit. Nobody else.

Brady was on a mission since day one and he made sure he had everything ready to compete with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He rented Derek Jeter’s $29M mansion in Tampa Bay. A GOAT needs a big and luxurious house, which exactly what Brady did. The result? He gave the Bucs their first Super Bowl in 18 years, finishing a 12-year playoffs drought and playing and winning the Super Bowl held in their own stadium.

These two are the best of the best in their respective sports and their accolades and numbers confirm that. What they did on the court and the field is magical and even though other players seem to be ready to dethrone them, that’s not going to happen in the near future.
