Tyronn Lue Tells Ridiculous Story Of When Shaquille O’Neal Took A Dump In His Teammate’s Shoes

Shaquille O’Neal is one of basketball’s most recognizable faces. Besides being known as one of the best bigs in NBA history, he’s also notorious for being a jokester and prankster.

We’ve already heard plenty of stories of his shenanigans before, but his former teammate Tyronn Lue (who currently coaches the Clippers) recently shared another, and it might be the most ridiculous Shaq moment yet.

Here’s Lue on the Knuckleheads podcast:

“One day, Devean George, he was supposed to grab donuts or whatever… I don’t know, but he didn’t do it. So Shaq’s like ‘alright, I’m gonna get you’ So we’re getting ready for a game and Devean George I think worked not he court, came back, and he was getting taped or whatever. Shaq goes in the bathroom, takes his shoe in there and he sh*ts in his shoe. Takes his shoe, comes back. So Devean George comes back, gets ready for the game, and puts his shoe on…”

It’s pretty gross and surely unsanitary, but Shaq didn’t care. His pranks are well known for being especially cruel.

According to Gilbert Arenas, he even used to pour buckets of his own urine over rookies.

“Shaq is a jokester, so if one of the rookies was in a stall, he would take a bucket and use the bathroom in it for about a week, then all of a sudden he’d pour it on them,” Payton said.

It sounds like being teammates with Shaq was quite the experience. On one hand, you got to enjoy hid dominant on the court night in and night out. On the other hand, you were subject to pretty insane pranks.

Today, Shaq seems to have calmed down a bit (let’s hope) and mostly keeps things appropriate for the cameras as an analyst for TNT. But nobody will forget the things he used to pull back in the day.
