Kyrie Irving is well-known for being one of the best point guards in the league. There are few people who are as skilled as him on the basketball court, and he is widely considered to have the best handle in the league. Currently, Kyrie Irving is putting up 25.9 PPG, 4.6 RPG, and 5.4 APG for the Brooklyn Nets.

Aside from his prowess on the basketball floor, Kyrie Irving is also known as a person who will speak his opinions, no matter how controversial they may be. He has often clashed with the media, even referring to them as "puppets" previously.

Lol I guess this is "breaking news" media nowadays. Keep my family name out of y'all Simpleton articles. The puppets are running wild again.

Recently, the Brooklyn Nets played the Philadelphia 76ers, with the Nets handling business, beating the 76ers 129-100. There is no doubt that this was a good win for the Brooklyn Nets. There was a lot of media hype towards this game, as it marked star Ben Simmons' return to Philadelphia, though he didn't end up playing and sat on the bench.

Obviously, during the game, Ben Simmons received a lot of heckling from the Philadelphia 76ers fans. A video has recently surfaced of Kyrie Irving clapping back at one of the fans heckling Ben Simmons. We can hear that the fan is asking Ben Simmons about him filing a grievance, obviously referring to the report that Ben Simmons' representation would file a grievance to try and get back some lost wages from the 76ers. Kyrie Irving clapped back at the fan, telling him to "grow up".

Y’all go around and do this? Is this your minion? You bring her around with you to record everything? Grow up.

In this situation, it is clear that Kyrie Irving acted like a good teammate, and confronted the heckler without escalating the situation. Ben Simmons and the Brooklyn Nets got the last laugh tho, as they absolutely destroyed the Philadelphia 76ers on their home court.

The Brooklyn Nets showed yesterday that they could compete with the best in the Eastern Conference. Hopefully, we see a fully healthy Nets team sooner rather than later, and there's no doubt that Ben Simmons will help push them to another level.
