The result was quite lopsided when NBA rookies were asked whether they'd rather be a victim of a LeBron James chase-down block or a Stephen Curry ankle breaker.

LeBron James and Stephen Curry are widely regarded as the two greatest players of their generation, and they have been dominant forces in the league for quite some time now.

They have put many unfortunate opponents on highlight reels, whether it is LeBron coming out of nowhere for a chase-down block or Curry breaking someone’s ankle before drilling another three-pointer. NBA rookies were asked which one they’d pick to happen to them and here’s what they had to say.

Taylor Hendricks: “Have a LeBron chase-down block.”

Jordan Walsh: “Oh my god, Steph break your ankle.”

Brice Sensabaugh: “A chase-down block for sure, because if I don’t see it, I’m cool with that.”

Julian Phillips: “Oh they both bad. But block, you can’t get broke down.”

Dereck Lively: “A LeBron block.”

Olivier-Maxence Prosper: “LeBron chase-down block. Ankle breaker is definitely worse than getting blocked.”

Kris Murray: “LeBron chase-down block.”

Marcus Sasser: “LeBron chase-down block. He do it to everybody. It’s going to happen.”

Jalen Pickett: “LeBron chase-down block. Breaking your ankles is crazy.”

Ben Sheppard: “LeBron chase-down block.”

Hunter Tyson: “Oh man. Probably get blocked by Bron.”

Jaime Jaquez Jr.: “Steph breaking your ankle. Oh wait, hold on. No no. Chase-down block by LeBron. I mixed up the question.”

Well, that ended up being a clean sweep as everyone would rather be chase-down blocked by LeBron rather than get their ankles broken by Curry. Miami Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. seemed to finally be the one to opt for the ankle breaker, but he misunderstood the question and went with the block later.

NBA Rookies Picked Their All-Time Favorite NBA Moment

While Curry technically came out on top here, he, unfortunately, ended up on the receiving end of the all-time favorite moment for a lot of rookies, as they picked Kyrie Irving’s iconic shot in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.

Another special moment that a lot of rookies picked was Ray Allen’s clutch three-pointer in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals.

Hopefully one day in the future, some of these rookies will have iconic moments along these lines. There is a whole lot of talent in this draft class, so it certainly seems possible that we might get something from them.
