After posting another incredible game against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night, LeBron James is once again the man of the hour in the NBA, but his impressive performance isn’t the main reason why he’s so talked about right now.

The King set the alarms in the Los Angeles Lakers organization after a brief conversation with Sam Amick of the Athletic. James voiced his frustrations with the current moment of the Lakers and the fact that the front office is reluctant to make a trade.

He blasted them for their lack of action, which didn’t sit well with many fans around the league. The Lakers are in a complex position right now, and while LeBron thinks the team needs to make a move urgently, fans believe he should go through that since he was the one that picked the roster.

LeBron James Might Be Close To Leaving The Lakers

This situation could get worse by the day and some executives believe that Bron could end up forcing a trade from the Lakers if they don’t make any moves in the following months. Sean Deveney of Heavy reports that this could be too much for LeBron and he could force the Lakers to move him away.

“According to executives around the league, multiple teams are at least preparing for the possibility that James will seek to force a trade this summer as he, having just turned 38, looks to finish his career in a winning environment,” Deveney wrote. “And unlike this past offseason, in which teams were blindsided by the trade demand lodged by star forward Kevin Durant on the eve of free agency, front offices around the NBA will be prepared for James’ potential move.”

Of course, this would be madness, but the NBA always surprises us. LeBron can’t be traded this season, but once the offseason starts, the 4x NBA champion could leave the Lakers. Where he would go next? That’s a mystery, but teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and even Golden State Warriors have been mentioned as potential landing spots for the King.
