Andrew Wiggins has just had his best career year efficiency-wise with the Golden State Warriors, all while averaging 18.6 PPG and 4.9 RPG and playing some stellar defense. There’s no question that his contract is massive, but the former No. 1 pick has improved this season, and could potentially improve further. James Wiseman is the No. 2 pick from the 2020 NBA Draft. While James Wiseman’s inexperience showed on the court his rookie season, there’s a high chance that he improve going into next season given the opportunity. More usage on the Los Angeles Clippers could help aid that, and allow him to showcase some of his skills and athleticism.
The Golden State Warriors would also send the No. 7 and No. 14 picks away in the deal, which are both lottery picks in a very good draft class. There’s no question that this is a solid enough offer for Paul George.

There is no question that Paul George would be a great contributor on the Golden State Warriors, due to his scoring ability and marksmanship from beyond the arc. Having Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry would definitely help him have more room to play his game and slash to the rim.
Paul George and Draymond Green would form a great defensive duo as well, and it is likely that an extra top-tier scorer would lessen the impact of Draymond Green’s regression on the offensive end. With many players facing injuries next season, the Western Conference landscape is wide open, and perhaps the Golden State Warriors will make a move to add another championship to their trophy cabinet.
