Ever since his days at Indiana University, it was pretty obvious that Victor Oladipo was a special talent. He could score, play on and off the ball, and showed some glimpses of being a lockdown defender that could become a perennial All-Star.
Oladipo struggled earlier in his career and it wasn’t until he made it to the Indiana Pacers that he was finally able to blossom into that two-way player we all thought he’d be. Sadly, injuries constantly got the best of him and the Pacers learned how to win without him.
That’s why apparently, he’s interested in moving on from the Indiana Pacers and would love to change teams this offseason, according to Jared Weiss.

And now, according to Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson of Heavy, there would be as much as seven teams (Lakers, Knicks, Mavericks, Suns, Raptors, Nets, and Timberwolves) interested in the former 2nd overall pick:

There’s no doubt that Oladipo could be a major pickup for any of these teams. He’s got the ability to run the point or play at the shooting guard spot, is a good defender, and has the ability to lockdown as a defender. However, there are serious concerns about his durability and whether he’s lost his lateral quickness after that much time in the sidelines.
Oladipo still has a year left in his contract and the Pacers would love to get his deal out of their books if he has no intention to stay with them for the long term, so he’s a prime trade candidate this offseason for sure.
