The Houston Rockets beat the Miami Heat 102-98 on Friday night, but Dillon Brooks ended up stealing the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Brooks decided to talk trash as he was backpedaling after scoring a layup in the first quarter but embarrassingly fell down after doing so.

This clip has unsurprisingly gone viral on social media and NBA fans roasted Brooks.

“Lmao boy needs to focus on the game. Karma right there .. bet he’s gonna keep his mouth shut and play basketball,” one fan stated Brooks needs to focus on playing basketball.

“Butt fumble vibes,” one fan compared this to Mark Sanchez’s infamous butt fumble.

“Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy,” one was delighted this happened to Brooks of all people.

“He just lost all his aura right there,” one stated Brooks lost all his aura by falling down.

“The first W Miami seen in months,” one fan joked about this being the first win for the Heat in forever.

“You can’t tell me he doesn’t deserve to be in the NBA, he’s a gold mine for media,” one stated Brooks deserves to be in the league for providing such content.

Brooks has provided some top-tier entertainment to fans over the years by shooting himself in the foot. Whether it be moments like this or when he talked trash to LeBron James and followed that up by losing in embarrassing fashion.

To Brooks’ credit, his team hasn’t been losing much this season and he has played a part in their success. The 29-year-old had 11 points (4-11 FG), one rebound, and three steals against the Heat as the Rockets improved to 46-25. This was their ninth win in a row and they have further strengthened their grip on the second seed in the Western Conference.
