The Los Angeles Lakers have won 10 out of their last 12 games after dispatching the Golden State Warriors 120-112 with Luka Doncic watching on the sidelines. The Lakers let go of an early 25-point lead as Golden State fought back to make it a close game in the fourth quarter. But the Lakers led by LeBron James held onto the win to continue their rise up the Western Conference.

LeBron James continued his incredible form over the last week, dropping 42 points (14-25 FG, 6-9 3P) with 17 rebounds and eight assists to carry LA to this win. Austin Reaves contributed 23 points (4-17 FG) and three steals. Gabe Vincent had 15 points (5-8 FG) and Jarred Vanderbilt had 14 rebounds off the bench.

Lakers fans were amazed by what they saw from LeBron ahead of the highly-anticipated debut of Luka Doncic.

How on earth does LeBron keep doing this, said Nekias Duncan while in shock at LeBron’s incredible performances at 40 years old.

“LeBron career so crazy we won’t remember this shit at all This is just a random Thursday in the grand scheme of things lol,” said Eddie Gonzales to highlight how incredible LeBron’s body of work is.

“Don’t take LeBron James for granted,” said Kevin O’Connor to highlight how incredible LeBron has been.

“Don’t take Steph vs LeBron for granted. These are legendary and not sure how many more we get. Both understand the assignment every time,” said one fan showering both LeBron and Steph with praise for the amazing games they keep having against each other.

LeBron’s increase in production since the Lakers landed Luka hasn’t gone unnoticed, with James splashing a logo three with Doncic closely watching, LeBron got Luka on the team and started acting totally different lmaoo.

Fans were noticing how Luka Doncic was loving the show put on by the man he grew up idolizing and will soon be teammates with.

The Warriors are shorthanded after sending out four players in the Jimmy Butler trade. Stephen Curry battled LeBron with 37 points (13-35 FG), registering his most attempts in any game this season. He might as well have shot more because his teammates weren’t up to the task. The next-leading Warriors scorer was Buddy Hield with 15 points (5-13 FG) followed by Moses Moody (14 PTS, 4-10 FG) off the bench.

The Warriors have dipped below .500 with a 25-26 record. While Jimmy Butler is expected to debut soon, the team needs to stack wins quickly to get back into Playoff contention. They’re still just 3.5 games behind the No. 6 seed, so a rise into the Playoffs is still on the cards.

The Lakers are 30-19 with this win, four games behind the No. 2 seed in the West. They legitimately could climb all the way up now that Luka Doncic and Mark Williams will be joining a Lakers squad that’s finally found their identity and groove. There will be some growing pains for a squad that needs to learn to play with Doncic on the ball, but they have a real shot at becoming a major threat in the West.
