A little girl has gone viral on X for her refusal to say that LeBron James is the GOAT. In a clip that has spread like wildfire on social media, the kid is seen facing the wall, with her elder brother in the background telling her she has to stay there until she admits that James is the greatest ever.
Brother: “This what happen when you say LeBron not the GOAT. Say LeBron the GOAT. Say LeBron the GOAT. Alright well you gonna sit right here. You gonna stay right here, you not moving till you say LeBron the GOAT. Say LeBron the GOAT. Say LeBron the GOAT.”
Girl: “No.”
Brother: “Alright well you gonna stay right here then.”
She would rather stay in the corner than say LeBron is the GOAT 😅

NBA fans hilariously reacted to the viral clip.
“She knows ball, I’m afraid,” one fan praised the girl’s basketball knowledge.
“He’s teaching her right, don’t get her out that corner till she says Bron is the GOAT. Word for word,” one fan wanted the child to be given no mercy.
“How is a 4-year-old claiming that Jordan is the GOAT,” a fan wondered.
“She gotta be related to Skip somehow,” one fan stated that this girl must be related to notorious LeBron hater Skip Bayless.
“Never waver from your beliefs. She’s going to be successful in life. Lol,” one fan believes this kid has a bright future.
That is indeed a great quality to have and bodes well for the future. It’s unclear why this girl refuses to call James the GOAT and I doubt there’s much he can do to change her mind. She seems steadfast in her belief and I would love to know whom she considers the greatest.
While James might not be able to change her opinion on the matter, he could change that of others if he can add to what is already a very impressive resume. The 39-year-old has won four titles, four Finals MVPs, four MVPs, a scoring title, and an assists title in his career. He is also the NBA’s all-time leading scorer but all that isn’t enough in the minds of many, who believe he needs to win more.
LeBron, who is averaging 23.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 9.2 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game in 2024-25, is as motivated as ever to win another championship but for now, his focus will be on winning his next game. His Los Angeles Lakers have won five games in a row to improve to 9-4 on the season and they’ll take on the Utah Jazz at Cyrpto.com Arena next on Tuesday at 10:30 PM ET.
