The Brooklyn Nets have been a top-tier team this season, but there’s no question that they have not looked like the NBA-dominating force that they were last year.

They have faced a lot of issues this year. They have missed Kyrie Irving for a large portion of the season, and James Harden had a shooting slump to start the season. More recently, Kevin Durant was sidelined with a long-term injury.

Despite that, it seems as though Nets governor Joe Tsai is still positive about his team. Joe Tsai sent out a Tweet in response to a video of James Harden’s 37-point triple-double performance against the San Antonio Spurs, claiming that “the best is yet to come” for the Brooklyn Nets.

The goal for the Brooklyn Nets is the NBA championship, rather than winning regular-season games. All three of their stars are experienced veterans who know that the goal of a contending team is to peak by the time the playoffs roll around. The Brooklyn Nets are arguably the most talented team in the league, and if they develop any form of chemistry as a big three then they’ll be borderline unstoppable on the offensive end.

Hopefully, we see Kevin Durant return from his injury sooner rather than later. But there’s no doubt that they’re still a dangerous team in the meantime, especially with the return of Kyrie Irving, who has been playing in away games for the team. With that being said, Kevin Durant is the go-to option for the team, and his return will give them yet another weapon on the offensive end.

The Brooklyn Nets may have lost in the 2nd round last year, but they will be hoping to at least make the NBA Finals this year. Perhaps we’ll end up seeing them win the NBA championship this year, and there’s no question that they have a good chance of doing so.
