New York Knicks’ Fans Celebrated Outside The Madison Square Garden After Reaching .500

The New York Knicks are having a very good season after nobody believed they were going to get this good, at least not so fast. Tom Thibodeau has done a terrific job with this team and now they’re 5th in the Eastern Conference after a big win over a big rival in the Indiana Pacers.

A group of young players that includes RJ Barrett, Julius Randle, Immanuel Quickley, Mitchell Robinson, and more, are taking this team to be a competitive one again. If you add a veteran like Derrick Rose to the mix, you know you have something special there. Well, their fans know that too and after their victory over the Pacers, they took the streets of New York to celebrate the team reaching .500.

This is a pretty big deal for the Knicks, who were just bad in the past couple of seasons. The New Yorkers are now changing the narrative around them and the fans know this is the beginning of something new. After the game was over, the supporters were celebrating outside the Madison Square Garden, showing how big this ‘milestone’ is for them.

They beat the Pacers, 110-107, behind Julius Randle’s 28 points, at MSG. This result tied them for the 4th spot in the East with the Toronto Raptors. They have a better record than the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers, teams expected to be in the mix to compete in the conference this season.

NBA fans reacted to the celebration, predicting what could happen to the city if they win a championship in the future.

Things are changing for this squad and if they keep a good job, we will probably see them competing for important things in the next couple of seasons.
