Nick Wight After Andre Drummond Destroyed The Nets: ‘How They’re Expected To Beat Giannis In Round 2, Embiid In Round 3 And Then AD In The Finals?’

2 Min Read

Andre Drummond had a field day against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night, dominating them at the paint, even bullying LaMarcus Aldridge and Blake Griffin as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Nets 126-101.

He was really good in that game and showed that the Nets aren’t as strong as people want to make them look. Controversial analyst Nick Wright took notice of that and went to Twitter to call out the Nets and their lack of defense, wondering how they will stop Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid in the East when they can’t stop Drummond now.

“If *Andre Drummond* is having his way with the non-existent Nets frontcourt defense, can someone please explain to me how they’re expected to beat Giannis in Round 2, Embiid in Round 3 & then AD in the Finals?

I’d love to hear it.”

This sparked a lot of reactions from fans, who agreed with Wright and others went off on him for getting ahead of himself after a regular-season game.

This would be very interesting to see knowing that the Nets are expected to come out of the East this season but their defense needs to improve. They need to make some drastic changes on the defensive end of the ball or their life will be very hard in the postseason.

They could face Giannis and Embiid in the postseason and these two could become a problem for them. If they manage to get past the two foreign stars, then they could see Anthony Davis and that is going to be a really huge challenge for the New Yorkers. But, we’re still in April; time will tell what is going to happen with these two squads and how they will fare in the postseason, which appears to be a very entertaining one.
