The Brooklyn Nets are the scariest team in the NBA right now. If it wasn't enough to have Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant going toe-to-toe, they've now added another top-tier all-time great scorer in James Harden, which seems like an NBA-2K kind of move.

Obviously, there are still some concerns regarding how they'll mesh together once the three stars are on the court, but judging by what we've seen thus far, it seems like they'll be just fine.

That's why Paul Pierce believes that they're just scratching the surface of his potential. In fact, he assured that they'll only get better once they get to know each other, and went as far as to say that they're like having two Michael Jordans on the same squad:

"Man, the Nets are scary. 'Cause look, they're only two games in, they beat the top team in the Eastern Conference and they haven't even gotten their chemistry together yet. They've been scoring points and getting assists but also turning the ball over a lot, you gotta expect those to come down in the next few weeks as they get to know one another, as they implement Kyrie Irving. And I gotta say it, is like having Jordan and Jordan on the same squad! It's like, who's number 2?" Pierce said on ESPN's The Jump.

While that assessment could be a bit of a reach by The Truth, he's not that far off. We're talking about two all-time great scorers that would be the first scoring option on every single basketball team on earth, perhaps in the history of basketball.

Thus far, James Harden and Kevin Durant have meshed perfectly. In the two games they've played together, Durant has gone for 42 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists on 61 FG% shooting and 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists on 47% from the floor.

Harden, on the other hand, has scored 32 points with 14 dimes and 12 rebounds on 44% shooting, and 34 points with 12 assists and 6 boards on 52% from the floor.

The Nets still have a couple of things to work on and are short on depth and stoppers, but more often than not, great players figure it out. Also, they have 3 roster spots to fill with role players, so watch out NBA, the Nets are up and coming.
