Episode 9 of “The Last Dance” focused heavily on the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals battle between the Bulls and Pacers. They pushed the Bulls to seven games that series and Miller is credited for being the hero after he knocked down a big game-winner jumper in Game 5. While a lot of the details have been lost to history, one recent confession by Miller puts things in a different perspective.
He himself admitted that there was a push-off.

Needless to say, Miller confirmed a lot of suspicions in the NBA community today. Had he been called for that push-off, or not done it at all, there might not have been a game seven.

Obviously, it didn’t stop Jordan from going on to win the Chip. He and the Bulls beat the Pacers, went on to win the Finals, and the rest is history,
