Initially, there was optimism about what he could do alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but that optimism turned to doubt when the Lakers struggled to win games throughout that season and were even worse to start the 2022-23 campaign. In 130 total games for the Lakers, Westbrook averaged 17.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game on just 43% shooting.
