There is probably not a single duo in sports media more iconic than Skip Bayless and LeBron James. Even though James has never really acknowledged Bayless during his career, Skip has made it a point to harshly critique LeBron during almost every point in LBJ’s 19-year long career. His dislike for James being mentioned in the GOAT debate is palpable but ironically, not many people think about LeBron nearly as much as Skip does.
Speaking recently on his own ‘The Skip Bayless Show’, he explained that throughout LeBron’s career, he has seldom missed the opportunity to watch James play a game. Many have joked about the fact that Skip is obsessed with LeBron more than hating him and this recent revelation might just have lent some credence to that fact.
I've never been more fascinated with a player than LeBron James. I never miss a game.

Question: “How many games in LeBron’s 19-year career have you missed?”
Skip Bayless: “None. It’s possible that in his rookie year I missed one or two, but I don’t think so… He is simply the most interesting man in the history of sports… I live for LeBron games and I do not miss them.”
Hearing this from Bayless is no surprise, there’s no way that he could talk about James as much as he does if he wasn’t scrutinizing every move that LeBron makes. It’s funny for the fans that have always maintained that Skip secretly loves LBJ but at this point, there has to be some truth to that even outside the assertion that watching LeBron makes sense because there is always a story happening around him.
Skip Bayless has already had disagreements with Russell Westbrook’s wife this season and he is likely to get into a few more tiffs before he retires, but it remains to be seen if LeBron James will ever actually acknowledge something Bayless says. It’s not likely, but until Bron retires, we can say with certainty that Skip Bayless will continue to watch his every move.
