Skip Bayless Takes Shot At LeBron James And Klutch Sports: ‘I Guess The NBA Is Now A LeBronopoly.’

Montrezl Harrell has signed a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, leaving the Clippers following a disappointing loss in the second round of the playoffs against the Denver Nuggets. Harrell won the Sixth Man of the Year award with the Clips this season and he was a coveted player this offseason.

When everybody believed he was going to stay with the Clippers, Harrell surprised everybody and signed with the purple and gold, something that upset a lot of people within the Clippers organization and the NBA. Analyst Skip Bayless took a shot at LeBron James and Klutch Sports for all the moves they have made in recent days, which includes Harrell landing in the Lakers.

Skip has become famous for criticizing LeBron whenever he has the chance and this time it wasn’t the exception. Bayless went after Bron and Klutch Sports on Twitter after the news of Harrell saw the light.

“I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. LeBron’s agency steers Montrezl Harrell to the Lakers, says his agent Rich Paul, who runs Klutch for LeBron. Trez is signing for only about $9 mil, a stunning steal for the Lakers. I guess the NBA is now a LeBronopoly.”

It’s worth noting that Harrell declined a bigger offer from the Charlotte Hornets to go play with LeBron and Anthony Davis on the Lakers. According to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times, Trezz had to turn down a bigger offer so he could join forces with the Lakers duo.

Harrell is a client of Klutch Sports and this whole thing gets suspicious. Still, Harrell is a very good player and he’s now favoring team success over money; he’s still young and once he wins, he can hunt that bag.
