  • Stephen A. Smith revealed he attended a Taylor Swift concert with his daughters after buying tickets worth $20,000
  • The NBA media personality revealed that she was amazing and that he was jamming to her music
  • Stephen A. Smith has called Taylor Swift ‘the greatest’

Stephen A. Smith doesn’t seem like the type of personality that would spend a lot of time listening to pop music icons, but it seems that Taylor Swift has won him over. In a recent segment on his podcast, Smith went as far as to call Swift ‘the greatest,’ which is a pretty massive claim.

“Now y’all know that Taylor Swift, doing concerts all over the country. I have two daughters. Teenagers have friends. And so when your dad is perceived as having money and you got daughters that open their mouths and promises them that daddy’s got to get them tickets,” Smith said on his podcast.

“Them damn things was $2,000 a piece. Two times ten is $20,000… Not only did I send my daughters back to the concert, Daddy actually went with them. Me. At a Taylor Swift concert. But I said Imma go see her.

“That was the best concert I’ve ever been to in my life. Excuse my language, but that sh*t was off the chain. Taylor Swift brought the house down. I was jamming to Taylor Swift. She was sensational, I’d pay to see her again.”

This is unexpectedly high praise from Smith for Taylor Swift, whose Eras Tour is the biggest run of concerts for any musical artist in recent memory. The Eras Tour is on track to earn $2.2 billion, which would make it the highest-grossing tour ever. The 33-year-old Taylor Swift is taking the world by storm, and the NBA world seems to be getting involved.

Many NBA Personalities Have Been Spotted At Taylor Swift Concerts

Stephen A. Smith is far from the only NBA personality to have attended a Taylor Swift concert in recent times. Russell and Nina Westbrook were seen attending one, with fans having a lot to say about it.

Taylor Swift also made a wonderful gesture towards the family of Kobe Bryant, gifting a ’22’ hat to his daughter Bianka at one of her concerts. The price may be steep, but the NBA fraternity seems to have become fans of Taylor Swift, even if she isn’t dating Austin Reaves.
