Stephen Curry Mocks Kendrick Perkins And Domonique Foxworth Who Said He Will Zero Titles In The Next Four Years: “Steph Hears And Remembers Everything”

From 2015 to 2019, the Golden State Warriors dynasty was at its very best. They made it to the NBA Finals five consecutive times and ended up winning three rings out of the possible five.

To be honest, they could have won their fourth ring in the 2019 NBA Finals, if it weren’t for Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson getting injured. As a result, the Kawhi Leonard-led Toronto Raptors ended up defeating the Dubs.

Following that defeat in the NBA Finals, Klay Thompson was sidelined for an entire season and KD decided it was time for him to move forward in his career as he left the Warriors.

The Dubs still had their core of Steph, Draymond, and Klay intact, so fans were still hopeful that their team would be back at the top. Unfortunately for another season, the Warriors played subpar.

This led to many NBA experts putting an end to the dominance of Stephen Curry and the Warriors. So much so that they claimed that Curry will not win even a single NBA Championship in the next four years.

We are talking about this bizarre claim made by Kendrick Perkins and Domonique Foxworth back in 2021. Well, fast forward to 2022, Curry has proved them wrong.

Not only did he win the 4th ring of his career, but also the first NBA Finals MVP of his career. In the postgame conference, Curry made sure to address the above-mentioned NBA experts. He even mocked Perkins’ and Foxworth’s ‘Big Zero’ gesture in the interview.

“Clearly remember some experts and talking heads putting up the big zero on how many championships we would have going forward because of everything that we went through. So we hear all that, you carry it all, you try to maintain your purpose. Not let it distract you, but you carry that weight. And here it all comes out so this is special.”

It goes without saying that Steph remembers each and everything that his haters said in the past few years. He was just waiting to make a comeback and now that he has done it; he made sure to mock his haters.

In case you aren’t aware of what Steph is talking about. Here is a tweet for your reference.

Although Perkins and Foxworth have already been proven wrong, one might still wonder how many more NBA Championships can Steph win before he retires? To be fair, the way he is playing, we can see him winning at least another ring.
