It is widely believed that LeBron James is the greatest player of our generation, and as such, he is often compared to Michael Jordan. The GOAT debate is generally considered to be between the two, with many younger fans believing that LeBron James is the GOAT.

We have seen LeBron James show his greatness recently as he erupted for a 47-point double-double against the Atlanta Hawks. After the game, Trae Young’s dad Ray Young compared LeBron James to Michael Jordan, noting that he “can’t argue” with anyone that has LeBron James as the GOAT.

This must’ve been what it felt like watching Jordan up close. I’ve never seen anyone control a game like that. My favorite is still MJ all time, but I can’t argue with anyone who says LeBron…..Man O Man🏀🙏🏾🤯@Lakers vs @ATLHawks

There’s no doubt that LeBron James is one of the greats, and he definitely has a case to be the GOAT. No one has been this good for this long, and his longevity is absolutely unprecedented. Though Michael Jordan is still going to be a lot of people’s GOAT of basketball, it is clear that what LeBron James has done in his career is absolutely spectacular.

Isiah Thomas Once Explained Why LeBron James Was The GOAT

Aside from fans, there are also some players that believe LeBron James is the GOAT. Isiah Thomas once explained why he believes LeBron James is the GOAT, noting that he is the “best and most ‘complete’ player” that he has ever seen.

The best and most “complete” player I have seen in my lifetime is LeBron James, on and off the floor. He passed the eye test and the numbers confirm what my eyes have seen in every statistical category. GOAT let it be known!

LeBron James is obviously a player that can do almost anything on the basketball court. Despite originally being a slasher with playmaking ability, he has expanded his game throughout the years to become a fantastic scorer on all three levels. It is clear that LeBron James is one of the most versatile players to ever be in the league, and hopefully, we see him get more respect in the future.

As of right now, LeBron James is still dominating with the Los Angeles Lakers. Unfortunately, the team has not been able to win many games this year. Hopefully, their situation improves, and it would be amazing to see LeBron James back in the playoffs.
