The Utah Jazz has been the most active NBA team in the 2022 offseason, parting ways with their dynamic duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, focusing on rebuilding the squad, and trying to be competitive again. Danny Ainge has been pulling the strings perfectly, but he’s not done, as the Jazz might be plotting another big move.
Following the trades of Gobert, Patrick Beverley and Mitchell, the Jazz are all-in on a rebuilding mode, but they still have a couple of veterans that could help a contender in this upcoming season. They’ve been linked with a move away recently, but seeing how high the Jazz are on them, that might not happen at all.
Jordan Clarkson, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Malik Beasley are solid role players that could help any other squad in the league, but so far, they remain in Utah, waiting for a resolution. The team believes they have something special in hand and could use that to get the maximum return for this trio.
Utah Jazz Believe Jordan Clarkson, Bogdan Bogdanovic And Malik Beasley Can Get Them A First-Rounder
In the latest episode of his The Lowe Post podcast, Zach Lowe opened up about what the Jazz expect to get with their last couple of veterans. According to the analyst, they believe that Clarkson, Bogdanovic and Beasley are enough to get first-round picks from another team.
“The second package is Clarkson, Bogdanovic, Beasley,” Lowe said, via Ahn Fire Digital. “From what I’ve been told around the league, the Jazz feel all three of those guys are worth a first-round pick. If that’s the case, then there’s no deal, that’s out.”
Danny Ainge earned a reputation with the Donovan Mitchell trade, and if he pulls this off, that will be reinforced. The rest of the offseason will be interesting for the Jazz officials, who could still make a big move to focus only on waiting and developing young players.
