Obviously, it is fun to think about a squad of real players that could potentially beat the Monstars. There’s no doubt that this lineup of all-time greats would be able to beat any team, including the Monstars. All five of those players are generally considered to be in the top 10 of all-time, and it is easy to see why Victor Wembanyama thinks they could beat the Monstars.

Victor Wembanyama is viewed as a generational prospect, and there’s no doubt that he received a lot of hype ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft. In fact, NBA analyst Chris Broussard claimed that Wembanyama has a “GOAT” ceiling.
“The ceiling, there is none,” Broussard said. “His ceiling is GOAT. That is his ceiling. Is it possible? Yes. If what we heard about him and you are saying it is not possible, he is 7’5″. He can handle the basketball, and he shoots it okay. But he has a form and looks like he is going to shoot it better. He can defend, and he is 19 years old with the MVP of the French league. I know that might not be the top-level European league but he is still playing against grown men. He dominated offensively as he led the league in scoring, and defensively.”
It will be interesting to see how Victor Wembanyama looks in the league. He definitely has the talent to be a superstar in the league, though it may take some time for him to grow into that role.
