Victor Wembanyama’s security who was accused of slapping Britney Spears, will not be charged, says latest reports.

Per TMZ, the security who had a complaint filed against him for battery, will now not be charged. The Las Vegas Police Department confirmed as much to the outlet.

The report also added, “She demanded an apology… while her husband,  Sam Asghari, said he wanted to see the guard punished.”

The news broke a day earlier when the incident occurred at the ARIA hotel. Per The US Sun, Britney and her husband Asghari entered the casino around 8:30 pm and were immediately swamped by fans. They made their way to the restaurant and spotted the French star.

When Britney wanted a photo with the phenom, she was pushed off by the security who apparently “smacked her in the face” and that caused the Toxic star to get upset. It was also reported that the security person came over to the pop icon’s table and apologized.

Victor Wembanyama Explains The Incident With Britney Spears

The San Antonio Spurs rookie shared his take on the incident with Britney Spears, and that also saw him earn some flak from fans.

“Something did happen when I was walking with some security of the team to a restaurant. There were a lot of people, so they were covering me. There was one person who was calling me, but my security told me don’t stop because it was going to make a crowd… That person grabbed me from behind, so I just know the security push her away. I don’t know how much force.”

For now, the latest update comes as good news for the Spurs, and this avoids bad press for the franchise as well, considering the young player has already been looked at as a superstar.
