Shaquille O’Neal has dominated in business just as he did in the post when he was an NBA superstar. After earning over $290 million in NBA salary, he has grown his net worth to over $400 million while still living a lavish lifestyle.

Shaquille O’Neal wears many hats, and entertainer is one of those. NBA fans see him most often as part of the Inside The NBA crew on TNT. And his crewmate Kenny Smith revealed how even that time isn’t spent on just one pursuit, with Shaq always having one eye on his vast business empire.

“Shaq has half an eye on the game, about a quarter of an eye,” Kenny Smith said. “He’s either DJ’ing, no literally, DJ’ing. One ear open, and he’s DJ’ing and he’s watching the game. Then five minutes later, ‘Hey oh yeah, hey! Oh, this is Icy Hot. Yeah, how you doing? Oh yeah, this is Papa John’s.’

“Like, he’s doing multimillion-dollar deals in the middle of the thing. And he’s like, ‘Kenny, should I do this for the three years for $28 million or should I do two years for $19 million?’ So I’m like, ‘Yeah, do the three years.’ (So he says) ‘I’m gonna do three years…’ Stuff is going down there.”

That is wild to think about, although it’s not the best look for Shaquille O’Neal to be distracted by other things when he’s supposed to provide analysis on the game after watching it. But it also makes sense that, considering the number of things he’s involved in, he’s constantly got one eye on his next move.

Kenny Smith Listed Shaquille O’Neal’s Various Multimillion-Dollar Interests

While he may not know exactly how big Shaquille O’Neal’s business empire is, Kenny Smith certainly has some ideas. And during the same interview, he revealed a list of multimillion-dollar businesses that Shaq is a part of

“Most people don’t even know like, Shaq owns Forever 21,” Kenny Smith said. “He owns Brook Brothers. He owns the rights to Marilyn Monroe. He is like, the most astute businessman that I know.

“But he gives you that, ‘Push me in the Christmas tree, oh, I’m a big guy, I’m being goofy.’ And he’s taking them to the bank every day. Like Brooks Brothers? Forever 21? The rights to Marilyn Monroe? Reebok? That’s Shaq.”

Anyone that underestimates Shaquille O’Neal does so at their own peril. The man has known nothing but success in everything he has tried his hand at. He might be the most dominant multitasker, along with being the most dominant NBA player in history.
