Ayesha Curry has been in the limelight a fair bit recently, especially since the Golden State Warriors clinched the NBA championship. Celebrations have been wild, and Ayesha was seen dancing with the Finals MVP trophy at the after-party while she also shared a wholesome picture of Steph and their son, Canon with the trophies on Instagram.

Stephen and Ayesha are darlings of a large part of the NBA fanbase, so anything that they get up to is usually talked about on social media. And the latest bit of content to go viral is a video of Ayesha in full Warriors gear at the gym. She lifted what look like pretty serious weights and had a funny reaction to her accomplishment, seemingly surprised by it.

Fans haven’t forgotten all the jokes about her not being able to cook during the NBA Finals as the banter between the Currys and the Boston fanbase reached its peak. And so the comments are filled with people either referencing that or joking about Ayesha’s reaction to lifting the weight.

“Why was she mad surprised she got that?”

“She made that face as if she accidentally lifted it.”

“That ain’t bad, to be honest.”

“That’s good and all that, but can she cook?”

“Things Ayesha can do: Cook, lift.”

“It’s the face for me, man.”

“Wow Ayesha strong asf.”

“After seeing this, I bet no one would ask her if she can cook to her face.”

“Wow, I’m never making fun of Ayesha again.”

“Damn, she must be cooking up some incredible protein dishes if sis can lift like that.”

“I love what she’s wearing, Go Dubs baby!”

From the looks of it, Steph isn’t the only athlete in the family, Ayesha can hold her own in the weight room. Their activities will surely be a matter of great interest this offseason too, considering that Curry is once again standing atop the NBA world. It’s Steph and his family’s time to have some fun.
