LeBron James and Kevin Durant are battling it out on the court on Friday night, but during their intense clash, cameras also caught the two sharing a laugh during the first half.

It is unclear what they were laughing about at the time but the two have always been quite friendly toward each other. There is a lot of mutual respect as well, which is always great to see. We hadn’t seen these two face each other in a regular season game for almost five years, but, fortunately, we have gotten two meetings this season.

James has now won both of them, with this one ending 122-119 in favor of the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron led the way with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block, and the Lakers are now 4-5 on the season. As for Durant, he had 38 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, but was powerless to prevent the Suns from dropping to 4-5.

NBA Fans Hilariously Guessed What LeBron And Durant Were Laughing About

With NBA fans being asked to guess what the two all-time greats were laughing about, they got to work. We got some hilarious guesses out of them as a result.

A fan said they were both laughing about the Clippers being a non-factor after the James Harden trade.

LeBron and Durant were talking about hair loss treatment, a fan joked.

One fan said Durant was telling James they won’t win the title this season.

One thinks they both disliked the court design.

One thinks LeBron is going to the Suns next year.

Whatever it was, it certainly brought a smile to both of their faces. We should appreciate every single game between these two because there aren’t too many left.

They’re both playing at a very high level, but injuries are inevitable once you get to their age. LeBron himself had to leave this game for a bit due to a non-contact injury but he managed to shrug it off and return. We’ll have to wait for a little bit for their next meeting, as that will be on January 11, 2024, in Los Angeles.

LeBron James Hailed Kevin Durant As A True Legend After Their Previous Meeting

The first meeting between these two this season followed a similar story as this one. The Suns were up for much of the game, but the Lakers turned things around to get the win. It was their first regular season meeting since Christmas 2018, and the two were obviously delighted to play each other after such a long time.

LeBron and Durant showed each other respect after the game and not long after that, James hailed Durant as a true legend, which he is. There had been some talk after the 2023 playoffs that the 35-year-old might have lost it a bit, but he has put that to bed in a hurry.

Following this spectacular performance, Durant is now averaging 30.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 50.8% from the field, and 40.5% from beyond the arc.

While we rightly praise LeBron for his longevity, Durant deserves a lot of credit for how well he is playing this deep into his career. You do worry about the load that is on him at the moment, though, and the Suns need Devin Booker back as soon as possible.
