The Golden State Warriors have become the best destination for any player trying to get a ring on his finger, as the Dubs have built such a strong legacy that they’re the team to beat on a yearly basis.
Piggyback riders have thrived in Kerr’s system, and depth has been one of the main reasons why this team has been so hard to beat over the last 4 couple of years, and that’s unlikely to change any time soon.
The Dubs pace and space offense has made big men kind of expendable for them, and now that David West, Zaza Pachulia and JaVale McGee are set to become free agents at the end of the year, who would be the next in line?
Let’s take a look at 5 big men that could sign with the Golden State for the veteran minimum or for the mid-level contract.
5. Zach Randolph

Zach Randolph has already made a lot of money throughout his career, and his physical and strong presence down low would be a major upgrade over both Pachulia and McGee, as well as a nice complement for Draymond Green’s hard-nosed defense.
Z-Bo is a terrific offensive rebounder that would create a lot of second-chance opportunities for the Dubs shooters, and he would love to have the chance to play for a Championship as he heads towards the sunset of his career.
4. Joakim Noah

Joakim Noah definitely deserves to win a Championship after the former Defensive Player of the Year played his heart out for the Chicago Bulls just to be mistreated by both them and the New York Knicks.
Noah would love to revive his career with the Dubs after he agrees to a contract buyout with the Knicks, he’s a terrific passer that would create a lot of opportunities for their scorers, as well as a fierce competitor that has always been one of the league’s best defenders down low.
3. Ed Davis

Ed Davis is a terrific hustler. He’s undersized and doesn’t have any kind of feel for the offense, but he’s never going to get outworked on either side of the hardwood, especially in the defensive end.
He may be kind of tricky to get because of the money, but he would really step up big time as an athletic and strong presence whose only task would be to set picks and prevent opposing teams from grabbing offensive boards.
2. Nerlens Noel

Nerlens Noel has to choose between getting paid or proving his worth, and he would be smart to do the ladder and play for a contender as the Warriors, following his disappointing tenure with the Dallas Mavericks.
Noel runs the court pretty well and has great defensive awareness, he’s a solid rim protector and an athletic beast that would thrive off Curry’s lobs, allowing them to have a deadly small ball lineup.

1. Brook Lopez

Brook Lopez has made over 100 million dollars throughout his career, but he’s never been on an actual contending side. So, now that he’s free to walk away from the Los Angeles Lakers, he would be wise to pursue the ring with the Dubs.
Lopez has a sweet shooting stroke from all over the court and would be a nice offensive fit for the Warriors, although he’s never been much of a physical presence down low or a rim protector whatsoever.
