Paul Pierce On LeBron James GOAT Status: ‘Some People Just Don’t Understand Facts. It Is What It Is No Hate.’

Paul Pierce always has something harsh to say about LeBron James, but he’s always trying to convince people he’s not a hater. The Boston Celtics legend doesn’t miss a chance to throw shade at LeBron and he claimed James didn’t deserve to be part of the GOAT conversation if the Lakers don’t win the championship this year and if they get eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

The Lakers lost the first game of their first-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers and everybody is blaming everybody.

LeBron needs to step up and leads his team; otherwise, his legacy will be hurt, according to Pierce.

“If the Lakers don’t win a championship, let alone lose in the first round, I don’t wanna hear none of this GOAT talk no more,” the Truth said on Wednesday’s edition of First Take.

After getting a lot of hate for his comments, Pierce replied to fans, making it clear that he wasn’t a hater and he was only speaking facts.

“Some people just don’t understand Facts is what it is No Hate,” Pierce wrote on Twitter.

Well, it’s hard to think differently here. Pierce has even claimed LeBron isn’t a top 5 player of all time, which is pretty crazy seeing Bron’s skill set and all the achievements he’s collected over his career. Yes, he may not be the GOAT but leaving him off the top 5 players of all time is a little too much.

Pierce and Bron have been rivals for several years now after they had a spat during a preseason game while Bron was still a rookie. Things got more heated when James joined the Miami Heat and faced the Boston Celtics in the playoffs, not losing a single one of those series. It doesn’t matter how hard he tries to hide it, Pierce is a certified LeBron hater.
