Since Anthony Davis first arrived in L.A., the fit has been almost seamless.

He’s been key in their run this year and his partnership with LeBron James may be the best of its kind in the entire NBA. On the court, the two are almost impossible to beat and have proven time and time again that they are capable of competing against the best of them.

Off the court, however, there seems to be a mutual level of trust, respect, and friendship that makes it all work.

Tonight, following A.D.’s awesome game-winning buzzer-beater, we saw a bit of their dynamic, as LeBron had some really great things to say about his superstar teammate.

“It’s that simple, he different. We heard all the noise over the past 48 hours about his ability and what he can do, some people not having him on All-NBA teams and things of that nature. So he just came out and proved why he’s one of the best players in the world.”

There were some folks who left AD off their All-NBA teams. There have also been many who have questioned whether or not Davis can live up to the pressure of performing big in the playoffs.

It’s fair to say he has answered those questions these past few games.

Against a talented Nuggets team, who have one of the best centers in the game, Davis is proving why he’s one of the best in the business, and if this continues, it might just lead them to a title.
